Creation In Action

My name is Dominic Olivares, I have been drawing, painting, and creating art since childhood. I am Inspired by life and nature. As a child I marveled at the stories and visual artistry of mythology books and science fiction / fantasy movies. I started creating my own stories of old, stories of now, & of future. I have found a way to share this vision with others through my artwork. More recently I have been focusing on live art shows (spray paint, acrylic, fire & soot, coffee & ink, and other mixed media), I not only create during live shows ( in-person and virtual ) but also share the stories, life experiences, and inspirations as the art is created right before people’s eyes.

I have been fortunate to travel throughout the United States and Internationally to learn about culture, history and experience the world. I believe its these very experiences that connect me to my art, which resonates with those who appreciate my artwork. I have a philosophy that art and life go hand in hand and I get to share my life and inspiration through my art.
